Donation terms

How your gift is used, how you are thanked, and what to do if something goes wrong.

## How your gift is used
Gifts made through this website support MindMe International's work in education and digital empowerment, economic opportunity, peacebuilding and community cohesion. When you choose a purpose, such as community libraries or youth programmes, we use your gift for that area. If a purpose is fully funded or can no longer be delivered, we will use your gift for the closest similar work.

## Ways to give
- Online: by card or M-Pesa through Paystack's secure payment page. Your payment details go to Paystack and never reach MindMe.
- Bank transfer: using the official account details shown on the Donate page. Please use the reference shown so we can match your gift and thank you.

## Receipts
After a successful online gift we email a receipt to the address you provide. If you do not receive it within a day, check your spam folder or contact us with your payment reference.

## Currency and fees
Gifts are accepted in the currencies shown on the Donate page. Your bank or mobile-money provider may charge its own fees; MindMe does not add any.

## Mistakes and refunds
If you made a gift by mistake, or the wrong amount was taken, contact us as soon as possible with your payment reference and we will review your request.

## Recurring and restricted gifts
Unless stated on the Donate page, each gift is a single, one-off gift.

## Questions
If you have any question about a gift or these terms, please contact us using the details on this page.
